Ted

2009 - 2018

It's been just over a month since we lost you, and your void is still so huge. Originally from Ohio, Ted ended up in a high kill pound with his brother, after abuse and neglect. At only 9 months old, he made his journey to Canada through a rescue, and ended up in our home not long after. He was just a shell of a dog, but he immediately bonded to me, and flourished in a home where he finally only knew love. Ted - you were the smartest, funniest, most animated, loving, thoughtful, "Peter-Pan" dog on earth. You learned so quickly, and your goofiness was infectious. You listened to everything, and listened well. You could never let me close my door, for anything, and no one could ever go into the washroom alone! You LOVED winter, cheese (all food really), your people, your house, car rides, couch naps, mornings, walks, bones and most things. Despite your fears, you were the bravest boy I knew right until the end. Thank you for all of the adventures, for being there for me through the good and the worst times, for growing with me, making me laugh every day, all the kisses and cuddles, and being the most special dog there was. You were, and are, so loved. Your Grandma, Great Grandparents, Sara, and I miss you so much sweet Ted Ted <3
