2017 - 2018

Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful, sweet boy Gatsby after he was found to have a rare, aggressive form of gastric lymphoma.
Gatsby, from the day we met, you brought so much joy and light into our lives and helped turn our two person home into a family. Our time together was too short. The only way we can make sense of that is that you were much too sweet and good for this world; however, another eighteen years would never have been enough. The void you have left in our hearts and in our lives is colossal and the pain of not seeing your sweet face, hearing your bossy meow, and holding you in our arms is almost unbearable. Thank you for every laugh, head butt, love blinks, cuddle, and early morning wake-up call. We will continue to treasure them every day of our lives. Thank you for all the love and light you brought into our home. We hope you know how much we adore you.
You will forever be a good boy. We miss and love you more than words can say. Enjoy the tuna treats, belly rubs, mousie games, snowflake chasing, and sunshine wherever you are and we'll see you again someday.
