Bruno

2004 - 2019

Bruno was one of a kind, and although he had a twin brother, the ears told them apart. We travelled everywhere together. He was happy, energetic, very smart and very well loved. Bruno had a way to brighten any ones day and he sure brightened mine for over 14 years. 3.5 months shy of his 15th birthday, I had the gut wrenching task of helping his soul shed his old tired body to be renewed with youth and happiness once again. Bruno was one of the unfortunate that Dementia took it's toll on. He fought it off for the longest time, and we dealt with it together, but it unfortunately became worse and my poor baby had lost his identity. That sense of identity gave him purpose and joy and when the dementia progressed, it stole that away from him.
I will always remember his happy face and all the times he stood by me through everything. He was my everything. As the saying goes, .......... You were my favourite Hello and my saddest Goodbye! I will love you always.
