Blue “Boobie”

2014 - 2018

Please meet our Big 110lb baby boy Blue who was born on a beautiful summer day... June 9th 2014. : One day my husband asked me if I wanted to get a puppy. I said no friggen way! Iam NOT a dog person. The next day he took me for a drive to his friends house. He failed to mention his friend was a Cane Corso Breeder. When we arrived, the breeder began to tell us about this a puppy named Oden, that was returned because the young college girl that picked him up when he was 8 weeks old, realized she did not have enough time for him. He was now 11weeks old. He brought out this tiny little beauty with big floppy ears and no tail. His blue brindle coloring just beautiful. We noticed he had a little bump(when he was older we learned it was a dermoid cyst and one day while playing with Nikita the it ruptured and needed surgery right away to save his life. So he had surgery) on his head but we didn't care, we thought he was perfect. The breeder picked up this little beauty and put him in my arms. It was that moment I knew he was mine and before I knew it money was exchanged, some food was given to us and into the car we went. We were on our way to bring our baby home to become a family. <3 Blue went everywhere we went. If you saw Dawnie... you saw Blue. Always together. When Blue was almost 2, we got him a sister named Nikita. Nikita was 22mths old when we brought her home. Blue taught her to be silly and have fun. Shortly after getting Nikita she had 7 puppies. Blue became a step daddy to each of them. He was there to teach them just as he taught Nikita. One by one the pups went to their new homes except for 2. Mr.Big and Princess. They found their way into our hearts. Our family of 4 just turned into a family of 6. Blue helped Nikita raise them. He was a very loyal, loving companion. Blue lived a life full of love from everyone he met. In the last 2 months of his life we noticed some small changes. The last month of his life the changes were more obvious. He was more cuddly and sleepy. He began a cough the dr said it to be kennel cough. 2 days later I brought him to emergency to find out he had Cancer and wouldn't live another day. We brought him home to be with his family and let him go to rest. It was the hardest day of my life. We only had 3 1/4 years with Blue... but it felt like a lifetime. If you would like to see more photos of him or videos you can look at our youtube page or our google pictures page with a folder full of Blue. Thank you for taking the time to read about our beautiful boy. May he rest in peace. <3<3<3<3
