Sophie Iamundi
2000 - 2014
Although it was so difficult to say goodbye to our dog Sophie on July 17th., we just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Rutherford Rd, & Hwy 400 Animal Hospital and Gateway for being so caring and compassionate to our sweet bichon and for answering my many questions during the past week. The cedar box is beautiful and perfect with the little gold heart with her name.
Sophie gave us so much love, happiness, and companionship in our home for 14 1/2 years. Sophie was a smart, friendly and a happy dog. So smart litter trained! Sophie loved and was loved by all her family, friends. She would greet you with barks, licks and would circle around you expecting a treat on your way out. Mmm so yummy! Our family get togethers, she loved. She was always by your feet waiting for someone to feed her and the best, hanging around with Romeo, Harley and the late Goku. I can't forget Cocco, who the few times they met, would always be after her being an active 14 year old Maltese. Sophie loved her walks and met several friends along the way. Harley, Brio, Jack, the late Kaylynn and Jain, and the new addition Bailey. Bailey who has spent the past month by her side comforting, kissing, and being so gentle until the last hours. Sophie fought and was brave for the past eight years She would swing her little bum to one side for her insulin shot twice a day. Sophie grew old and experiencing difficulty seeing who would visit our home, walking in our backyard and insulin that was dong nothing anymore. Her little body just became more tired each day. So hard and painful to see during these last few weeks. It was time and we had to say goodbye. We all know she is in a better place we call "Doggy Heaven" and walking beside her Nonna Maria who loved her very much. Sophie we miss you and love you and will meet again one day!
