It is July 12th and 15 years since you first came into my life when you were 9 weeks old.
A girl at the office bought you and all night you had kept her awake crying, barking and running around the house.
The next morning her boyfriend told her to get rid of the dog or he would leave her.
She made the wrong choice.
She asked me if I would take you.
I had not considered having a dog but for some reason I said yes.
I brought you home that night and named you Morgan.
When it was time to go to sleep I put you on the bed and got in beside you.
You looked at me, lay down, went to sleep and slept the whole night.
No crying. No barking. No running around.
You slept like an angel.
You had found your forever home.
I miss our walks.
I miss you sleeping on the bed every night.
I miss the unconditional love you never stopped giving me.
I miss you.
