Mona

2009 - 2019

Our beloved Mona. We remember the first day we met you at your foster home. You were such a happy and sweet cat. We immediately noticed how cute your walk was. We were excited to bring you home with us to become part of our family and meet Princess. There were so many great things that we loved about you. You would start purring as soon as we approached you and called your name. You loved getting belly rubs and being brushed. You really enjoyed getting your head kissed by mommy. Being outside in the front and backyard during the day made you so happy and you were such a sun worshiper. You loved being around people and you enjoyed socializing. We are happy you were able to meet our friends and some of our family members. They loved meeting you and said such nice things about you. Your bunny hop going down the stairs was so cute. We will never forget that. Mommy started calling you “fashion kitty” because your beautiful white, gray and pale orange colours on the top of your head, perfectly matched your tail, and you were all white in between. We loved your tiny pink nose and your large white paws. We did everything we could to improve your health and quality of life. We put you on a weight management program to help you lose weight and you did it. We wanted you to have a great life with us. When we realized you had claws, mommy was so worried. We quickly learned based on your sweet personality that it was not going to be a concern for Princess. Even though you and Princess didn’t get a chance to integrate, we were almost there until the worst news about you was given to us. The world came down on us. Even though you were sick for seven weeks, for most of that time you still showed interest in life and continued to purr, receive rubs, scratch your post, go outside, and give us love. Although you didn’t have too much time with us, mommy and daddy loved you like we had you forever. We love you and miss you dearly and you are FOREVER in our hearts. XOXOXO
